Spring Soccer has Kicked Off!

The co-ed soccer team has taken to the field and is doing an excellent job. Coach Reid is heading this up and has six games set for the season. Three of the games are home games! For a list of the dates and locations, check out the Sports section.

SBC & SCA Building Project

The building of the new facilities for Sharon Baptist Church and Savannah Christian Academy are currently underway. By the Lord’s provision, both phases are included in the current building project. This means that, if all stays on course, the new school will be completed within 21 months! Friday night’s Silent Auction was a huge success! God blessed us with perfect weather, a wonderful outpouring of parental help, great food, and an abundance of attendees! By the end of the evening, SCA had received almost $12,000.00! This is double what was needed and, therefore, enables the school to make a double payment on the playground! Thanks so much to everyone who helped with this event; it couldn’t have gone any better and we couldn’t feel more blessed than we do right now. God is very much involved in all that is going on within and around His school!

In preparation for the Silent Auction, SCA held a Deck-orating Contest. Below are some pictures of the results. Thanks parents!

SCA students enjoyed an unusual week of dress apparel as they participated in the annual Fall Out Week. Students took part in Hat & Jersey Day, Tacky Day, Decade Day, Future Day, and Character Day. Look to see if there are any faces you recognize from the past, present, or future!

Philosophy of Education:
The educational philosophy of Savannah Christian Academy is the teaching of academics through a Biblical worldview, acknowledging education as a component of one’s walk with God. The educational process should minister to the mind as well as to the spirit in order to enable a student to reach his/her full potential, as endowed by his/her Creator.
