We’re reading a C.S. Lewis novel, The Magician’s Nephew together as a class. Currently we are starting on chapters 8 & 9 and should be ready to answer questions related to to those chapters. We read some silently as well as aloud, and discuss the novel in class. Parents, please help check for understanding along the way, and allow your child to read some of the book to you. The only way to become a better reader is to well,…read!
In History, we’re finished studying the events of World War I, and will begin “the roaring twenties” this week. We had a special guest on Veteran’s Day-my husband, Alan Smith, came by to talk about his service in the USMC. THANK YOU, VETERANS!
Thanks for your support!
GO EAGLES!!! Eagles Basketball is underway! Come show your SCA spirit as we cheer on these young athletes on Tuesday, Nov. 18th at Adamsville!
Parents, please know that my door is always open to you, and don’t hesitate to come by or contact me. Together we can be more successful and accomplish so much! I appreciate your support and thank you for entrusting your child to us. Continue to lift us up with your prayers throughout the weeks and months ahead. May God bless and keep you,
Mrs. Candy Smith
