November is here and Turkey Day is approaching!!

Everything is moving quickly along, and we are busy learning all that we can.
Here are some quick hits and reminders about class:

URGENT ITEMS


    Weekly Items
  • Send lunch money and menus by Friday.
  • Students daily write down assignments from the board and parents sign every afternoon.
  • Friday folders go home on Friday; parents sign tests and quizzes; remove homework papers; kids return folder on Monday for a free 100 in my subject area (language, spelling, penmanship).
  • Spelling and penmanship tests are on Fridays.
  • P.E. is on Mon., Wed., and Fri.

SCA Quick Hits

Report cards for the second six weeks will go out next Wednesday, Nov. 26th. 

Students dismiss on Nov. 26th at 12:00 p.m. for Thanksgiving Break.

The November & December lunch menu can be viewed and/or downloaded by going to the Calendar section.

Be sure to turn lunch menus in by Friday for the upcoming week; late orders will not be “filled” for the upcoming week.

Upcoming Events

The Turkey Trot was a great success.  Nearly 300 people signed up and of those, 183 crossed the finish line!  Thanks for supporting SCA’s 5th Annual Turkey Trot!

Basketball season is now going strong.  For a schedule of the games check out the Athletic Section.  Students who wear SCA attire to the games will get in for $1.00 (this applies to home games only).

Running Club is finished for this season and will start back up in the spring.

God’s Kingdom Kids choir takes place each Tuesday in the cafeteria.  This goes from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
